The Universe is Wholly Interconnected

I am quoting here a review of literature on this topic by HeartMath of Boulder Creek, CA:

Of the many new scientific perspectives that emerged from the twentieth century, one of the most profound is that the universe is wholly interconnected. Complex living systems, such as human beings, are composed of numerous dynamic, interconnected networks of biological structures and systems that display rhythmic oscillatory behaviors. The self-regulation of normal oscillatory rhythms are a sign of health and resilience while a loss of or changes in the dynamics of the various oscillatory systems behavior are routinely used in the diagnosis of disease and dysfunction.

Every cell in our body is bathed in an external and internal environment of fluctuating invisible magnetic forces. It has become increasingly apparent that fluctuations in magnetic fields can affect virtually every circuit in a biological systems to a greater or lesser degree, depending on the particular biological system and the properties of the magnetic fluctuations. Therefore, it should not be surprising that human physiological rhythms and global behaviors are not only synchronized with solar and geomagnetic activity, but disruptions in these fields can create adverse effects on human health and behavior. Historically, many cultures believed that their collective behavior could be influenced by the sun and moon. The first scientific evidence of this belief was provided by Alexander Tchijevsky, a Russian scientist who noticed that more severe battles during WWI occurred during peak sunspot periods. He conducted a thorough study of global human history and constructed an index of Mass Human Excitability dating back to 1749 which he then compared to the solar cycles over the time period until 1926. The figure below constructed from Tchijevsky’s original data which plots the number of significant human events and the solar cycle from 1749 to 1926.

Since Tchijevsky’s pioneering work, energetic influxes from solar and geomagnetic fields have been associated with numerous aspects of human health and wellness, both positive and negative. Not only are there increases in negative behaviors during the year of solar activity maximums, the greatest levels of human flourishing also occur during these same periods.

Research shows, that the earth and the ionosphere generate a symphony of resonant frequencies that are in the same frequency range as those of the human heart and brain. New evidence suggests that SR are globally propagating waves, which provide a mechanism that explains many of the biological and behavioral effects of geomagnetic activity: on the human brain and nervous system activity, performance of athletes, memory and other tasks, synthesis of nutrients in plants and algae, incidence of depression, suicide, homicide societal conflicts, crime, traffic accidents, and mortality from heart attacks and strokes etc.

I will continue this review of the literature in another post in the near future.

HeartMath Produces Concrete Results in Human Well-Being

HeartMath is doing some cutting edge work which appears to not be replicated by any other organization in the world. This work is focused on heart-based coherence and the relationship between the energy field of humans and that of the earth itself. Specific, measurable results have been achieved, some of which are described below:

  • Resilience training for the US Navy has resulted in positive changes in the lives of thousands of sailors.

  • Research conducted over 24 years by the Institute of HeartMath has provided new insight into the physiology of emotions, learning, and performance. Based on this research, HeartMath has developed a set of heart-based tools and techniques that help students to better recognize and self-regulate stress, counter the effects of test anxiety and other emotionally based blocks to learning, and improve overall classroom climate. Students learn positive classroom and social behavior and how to manage emotions, respect others’ viewpoints and make responsible decisions.
  • Several highly effective trainer programs have been conducted, including the Qualified Instructor/Resilience Educator, HeartMath Intervention, and HeartMath De-Stress. The Resilient Educator Program was taught online to 30,000 teachers in South Korea.
  • HeartMath provides active military personnel and veterans with skill-building programs and emotion-regulation technology for lessening mental, emotional and physical suffering. HeartMath is proudly helping them transform hopelessness and helplessness to optimism and a renewed desire to lead full and productive lives through its Military Service Appreciation Fund.
  • HeartMath’s emWave® PC/Mac Stress Relief System is used by hundreds of thousands of individuals to reduce stress and improve health, learning and focus. HeartMath organizational programs have resulted in dramatic improvements in the health and performance of executives, staff retention and customer satisfaction, as well as personal benefits to employee health, well-being, learning and resilience
  • HeartMath launched a program to train police, firefighters and other first responders, called The Coherence Advantage: Building Stress Resilience and Optimizing Performance.
  • Several free public webinars are given a year. HeartMath averages a total of 15,000 registrants.

  • April 2013 saw the online release of the Institute of HeartMath video, The Heart’s Intuitive Intelligence: A path to personal, social and global coherence. This inspiring presentation about the essence of HeartMath touched the hearts of people eager to make deeper connections in their lives. The video soon went viral, garnering nearly 250,000 views by late January 2014
  • In a major development for its research, the U.S. Health and Human Services’ National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) recognized three IHM studies.

HeartMath- Some Background Information

The Institute of HeartMath has established a global reputation for unique researched-based techniques, products, services and proprietary technology that help individuals and organizations boost energy, achieve heart coherence, and transform the stress of change and uncertainty. Among the many benefits of coherence are calmness, good energy levels, clear thinking and proper immune-system function.

The organization conducts basic research into psychophysiology, neurocardiology and biophysics, and outcome studies in clinical, workplace, educational and military settings, frequently in collaboration with universities, research centers and health care system partners. This research has significantly advanced understanding of heart-brain interactions, heart-rate variability and heart-rhythm coherence.

Since 1991, the organization has been dedicated to helping people find balance between their mind and heart in life’s activities. The work is focused in two main areas, research and education. IHM research includes basic research on emotional physiology and heart-brain interactions, clinical studies, and research on the physiology of learning and performance. An additional line of inquiry aims to further the scientific understanding of the human biofield, intuition, and emotional energetic system.

Global Coherence Initiative

I wanted to share this email I received from the Global Coherence Initiative recently. The purpose of this organization is to give what is called a synchronized  care focus on various issues affecting the planet. This takes place during individual and group meditations and involves sending peace. love and heart coherence.

This email announcement reads as follows:
Millions of people throughout the planet are outpouring love, care and compassion to the people of Paris and elsewhere who are living on edge since the terrorist attacks. Nations are standing in solidarity with France as this terrible event is helping unite the world in heart determination to withstand ISIS jihadists. Increasing our collective prayers and compassion can create a cushion of love to help offset the fear energy and facilitate emotional restoration. For those who can, it would be helpful to continue our prayers and compassion during this time of global concern. We are all connected in the heart and we can do much to help heal and restore each other with the power of our love.
Care Focus: Strengthening the Vibration of Unity

1. Let’s unite in the heart with people all across the planet sending their love, care and compassion to those affected by the terrorist events. Imagine our united love and care being multiplied by universal source.
2. See our collective heart energy strengthening the vibration of unity and see it replacing the old vibrations of fear, separation and hate. Let’s hold Paris in our sincere heart vibration and stream energies of unconditional love, compassion and resilience for helping people regain energetic stability. (Let’s do this daily for a while, as you can.)
3. Now radiate the collective love into the global field environment to facilitate governments, businesses, social systems and individuals uniting to prevent and reduce terrorism.
4. Let’s close by radiating love, care and compassion to other global stressors as your heart guides you to do.

You can continue to do the Care Focus in the Global Care Room, if convenient, after the full moon period, as this will help raise the vibratory rate of the personal and collective field environment.
Thank you for your participation in this Care Focus.
